Kathleen Doty Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Doty of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Droeszler and Imelda Droeszler (Kaiser); her husband Harlan Doty Sr.; and her siblings, Donnie Droeszler, Shirley Goetzinger, LuMae Cavanaugh and Janise Ambrosy.
She is survived by: her children, Harlan Doty Jr. (Becky) of Dubuque, Jim Doty (Shari) of Dubuque, Jil Van Cleave (Mark) of Dubuque, Jeff Doty (Shelly) of Altoona, Jodi Sweeney (Colin) of Dubuque and Sandy "Babe" Wall (Jeff) of Holman, WI; her grandsons, Jake (Morgan) and Luke (Mollie); her children, Eric (Courtney), Ryan (Anna), Megan (Austin), Liz (Tim), Haley (Alex), Conner, Caitlin (Steffen) of Carson, DJ, Austin (Louise), Tiffany, Dylan (Natalie), Morgan (Dakota), Mikalya, Kelsey (Jake) and Emily (Drake); and her sisters, Patsy Chamberlain (Al), Helen Theisen (Merle) and Mary Klaas (Frank). She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (2921 Central Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
