He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Booth and Mary Adele Booth (Simmons); his brother James Booth (Paul Booth); and his brother-in-law Ed Updike. He is survived by: his children, Matt Booth of Dubuque, Christine Traeder (Ted) of Lodi and Monardo Faria of Cuba City, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Carter Booth, Graham Booth, Trey Traeder, Lea Traeder, Theo Traeder, Quinn Traeder and Kasey Traeder; his siblings, Carol Updike (Booth) and David Booth; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Booth and Sandy Booth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (1199 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
