She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sweeney and Lavina Sweeney (Hutchins); her husband Charles McCormick of Columbkille's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Bessie Ehlinger, LJ Sweeney, Grace Kane, Jim Sweeney and Mary Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Dunn (Julie) of Dubuque, Marcia Dunn of La Crosse, WI, Mary Goldsher (Mark) of Lake Oswego, OR, Moreen Fitzgerald of Kansas City, MO, Michele Colbert (Patrick) of Dubuque, Melissa McCarville (Chris) of Springdale, AR, Mark Dunn of Ashville, NC and Molly Steinke (Jody) of Quincy, IL; her stepchildren, Dave McCormick (Lynn), Joe McCormick of Dubuque, Ruth McCormick of Dubuque, Mary Jensen (Leon) of Dubuque, Helen Gile (John "Fritz") of Dubuque and Kevin McCormick (Deb) of Pewaukee, WI; and her grandson Tim Kusterer. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
