Jaeger (Hannan); his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Delores Lucas; his sister Dorothy Kunkle; his brothers-in-law, John Vonderhaar, Tom Lucas, Mike Schmitt, Herb Brimeyer and Donald Kunkle; his son-in-law Eric Hemmer; Dorothy Lucas (Kluesner).

He is survived by: his wife Connie Jaeger (Lucas); his children, Lynn Miller (Ed) of Dubuque, Ed Jaeger (Renee) of Lake Geneva, WI, Tony Jaeger (Deb) of Dubuque, Ann Woeppel (Jeremy) of Chambers, NE, Mark Jaeger (Melissa) of Berthoud, CO and Beth Hemmer of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Nathan Jaeger, Abby Crabtree (Spencer Geers), Cameron Jaeger, Claire, Rose, Judd Woeppel, Will, Ben Jaeger, Andrew and Sam Hemmer; his great grandchild Alana Jaeger; his sisters, Nancy Brimeyer of Dubuque, Shirley Kress (Norb) of Zwingle, IA, Phyliss Lahey (Jim) of Sherrill and Carol Specht (Jack) of Holy Cross, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Vonderhaar of Dyersville, Ruth Lucas of Dyersville, Mark Lucas (Jen Stansberry) of Iowa City, IA, John Lucas (Bev) of Sherrill, Carrie Schmitt of Rickardsville, Joe Lucas (Michele) of Lake St, Dan Lucas (Angie Phillips) of Minneapolis, MN and Barb Lucas of Iowa City. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Leon's honor to Hospice of Dubuque.
