She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Nemmers and Mary Nemmers (Herrig); her husband Alvin C. Schiffer; her siblings, Sylvester, Vincent Nemmers, Veronica Anglin, Georgia McLaughlin and Clara Lambe; and her son-in-law Brian Roth.
She is survived by: her children, Corrine Schatz (Robert) of Key West, Howard Schiffer (Sheri) of Marion, IA and Lois Roth of Mt. Pleasant, IA.; her grandchildren, Brian Schatz (Susan) of Lee's Summit, MO, Karen Allemang (Jason) of Kansas City, MO, Jason Schatz (Caitlin Kontgis) of Santa Fe, NM, Ryan Moe (Aaron) of LaGrange, IL, Cody Schiffer (Sarah) of Waukee, IA, Sarah Kidawa (Brian) and Laura Krishnaswamy (Rajan) of Torrance, CA.; and her great grandchildren, Leah, Daniel Schatz, Emelie Allemang, Truett, Sutton, Parker Moe, Cora, Maelie, Elle Schiffer, Maura, Henry Kidawa, Kendall and Kiran Krishnaswamy.
