She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Rule and Jean Ruth Rule (Breuer); her husband Dr. Edward H. Scott; her son Ian Scott; and her half-sister Robin Ginsberg.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Scott (Nicola) of La Crosse, WI and Colin Scott (Karen) of Dubuque; her daughter-in-law Melissa Scott of St. Louis Park, MN; and her grandchildren, Henry, Neve, Georgia and Will. She is also survived by grandmother to her grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, the family politely requests that memorial donations be made to either Iowa Nurses Association or MercyOne Dubuque Foundation.
