He is survived by: his wife Donna Meier; his sons, Eric Meier (Sarah) of Chanhassen, MN, Andrew Meier (Tami) of Stevens Point, WI and Alex Meier of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Zachary, Madeline, Lauren, Bryson, Katelyn and Eleanor; his siblings-in-law, Glenn Busch (Sandy) of Freeport, IL, Marie Timmerman (Tony) of Dickeyville, WI, Jane Murphy (Tom) of Montgomery, AL, Tom Busch (Kerry) of Milwaukee, WI, Jim Busch (Mary Sue) of LaCrescent, MN, Rick Busch (Angel) of Gays Mills, WI and Cathy Marty (Tom) of Dubuque; and his close friends, Jim and Chris Vosberg.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Hospice of Dubuque.
