Mary E. Colin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2026, at the age of 95, Mary E. Colin (Dubuque, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Thompson and Marian Thompson (Morrison); her husband Stanley B. Colin; her siblings, Anna Robbins (Bob) and Joseph "Bill" Thompson (Mary Ann); and her brother-in-law Roger Wandschneider.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Colin (Marie); her grandsons, Benjamin, John and William Colin; her sister Kate Wandschneider; her caregivers, Diane, Michelle, Nubia, Kay, Sharon and Carol; and her friends, JoAnn Fabrics, Jamie Burger and Jo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Dubuque Area Swimmin' Hurricanes or U.S. Paralympic Swimming.
