She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ludwig and Catherine O'Malley Ludwig; her husband Dale Launspach of Anthony's Church; her son Martin Dale Launspach; and her brother Richard Ludwig.
She is survived by: her children, Mary White (Warren) of Glen Haven, WI, Steve Launspach (Tracy) of Peosta, Gerianne Launspach of Dubuque, Dick Launspach (Lori) of Dubuque, Teri Schulz (Brian) of Asbury and Maureen Bortscheller (Jeff) of Asbury; and her sister-in-law Barbara Ludwig of Dubuque. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Mary's Inn and Opening Doors-Teresa Shelter.
