She is survived by: her children, Donald Broadwell (Sue) of Dubuque, Frederick Broadwell (Heather Schroeder) of Dubuque and Brenda Broadwell of Gilbert Arizona; her siblings, John Melssen (Joan) of Minneapolis, MN, David Melssen (Coleen) of Ankeny, IA, Ann McCormick (John) of Caledonia, IL and Jane Jackson of Bellevue, IA.; her sister-in-law Connie Zlabeck (Dennis) of Potosi, WI; Robin Richter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Mary's honor to be divided among her favorite charities.
