He is survived by: his wife Judi Matous of Dubuque; his children, Kristin Smith (Travis) of Dubuque and Nicholas Matous (Tara) of Dubuque; his grandsons, Dominic, Tyler, Lucas and Joseph Smith; his sisters, Nancy Clayton (Ken) of Dubuque and Helen Heacock (Ken) of Dubuque; and his brother-in-law Donald Berg of East Dubuque, IL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
