He was predeceased by: his father Earl Meyer; his parents-in-law, Ken, Beth Splinter, Paul and Joyce Splinter; his brothers-in-law, Ralph Splinter, Jim Splinter and Ted Splinter; and his friends, Bart Smith and Mike Ries.
He is survived by: his mother Anna Meyer; his wife Renee; his children, Kristin Dietzel (Kevin) and Weston Pins (Ellen); his grandchildren, Beckett Dietzel, Charlotte Dietzel, Hayes Pins and Georgie Pins; his siblings, Tony Meyer, Chris Meyer (Erin), Brian Meyer and Mary Blea (Clarence); his siblings-in-law, Tom Splinter (Janice), John Splinter (Mary Jo), Vicki Splinter and Linda Ginter (John); his aunt Helen Klug (Tony); and his friends, Kevin, Sara, PJ, Tina, Bob, Dana, Jeff and Jonna. He is also survived by cousins in the US and Germany; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or other memorials, a donation can be made in Mike's honor to the Mike Meyer Memorial Fund, which will be donated for his passions of art and wildlife education.
