With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle McCubbin of Dubuque, Iowa, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Freetly and Rosa E. Freetly (Roberts); and her brother Harvey Freetly. She is survived by : her significant other David R. McCubbin, Jr.; her children, Charlene Behrens of Grand Junction, CO, Lynn McCubbin of Dubuque, IA and Jeffrey McCubbin (Jennifer) of Campbellsburg, KY; and her grandchildren, Kurt Behrens, Stephanie Reece, Troy Behrens, Kendra Viteri-Lynn and Cohen McCubbin. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may go to Samaritan's Purse or Hospice of Dubuque.
