It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Anne Hammerand of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Nancy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nancy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Webster and Helen Webster (Brose). She is survived by: her husband Lester Hammerand; her son Mark Hammerand (Jennifer); and her granddaughter Gwendolyn Hammeranda. She is also survived by one niece; one nephew; four great nieces; and three great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sherrill Christian Community Church (5501 S Mound Rd, Sherrill, IA 52073).
