She was predeceased by: her parents, John Freking and Mary Freking (Waldschmitt); her stepfather Elmer Willenborg; her sister Betty Ruba; her sister-in-law Janice Freking; and her stepsiblings, Joyce Malin, Jane Willenborg, Tom Willenborg, John Willenborg, Elias Zirul and Dallas Holst.
She is survived by: her brother Ronald Freking; her brother-in-law Bob Ryba; her stepsisters, Mary Zirul, Ann Holst, Amy Florian and Marty Malin; and her sibling's child Franciscan.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clare House Chapel, Mount Saint Francis Center.
Memorials may be given to the Sisters of St. Francis, 3390 Windsor Avenue, Dubuque, Iowa.
