He is survived by: his wife Cathy Conlon (Stock); his sons, John Conlon and Will Conlon (Mariya); his grandson Benjamin Waters; his siblings, Steve Conlon (Lorrie), Julie Wilson (Mike), Tim Conlon (Christine), Phil Conlon (Susan), Fred Conlon and Suzie Henry (Richard); and his parents-in-law, Jim and Mary Catherine Stock. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Friends of the Mines of Spain or Hospice of Dubuque.
