With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of PBVM Marian Sweeney (Dubuque, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Irene (O'Brien); her brother Joseph Jude; and her sister-in-law Lois Sweeney. She is survived by: her siblings, Lucille Roth and Ray Sweeney (Chris).
