Pete Ludwig Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2025, Pete Ludwig of Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard Ludwig; and his niece Christine Ludwig. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ludwig (Hayford); his girlfriend Michelle "Shelly" Herrig; his children, Sara Eckstein (Tyler) and Thomas Ludwig; and his siblings, Michael Ludwig (Lois), Mark Ludwig (Kimmie Sauegling), Ann Jenkins (Tom), Cathy Ludwig and Jennifer Ludwig. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers a Pete Ludwig memorial fund will be established.
