He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Balk (Art) and Mary Balk; his brother Kenny; his brother-in-law Jay; his father-in-law Herbert; his sister-in-law Suzie; and his family, Pepper, Lowell and Pluemer.

He is survived by : his wife Alice; his children, Stacy (Mike), Wren and Adam (Erin); his grandson Bennett; and his siblings, John (Barb), Debbie (Wendell), Jim (Marie), Mike, Richie and Donny.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Robert W. Balk memorial fund.
