He is survived by: his wife Jane Splinter of Dubuque; his children, Elizabeth Nank of Overland Park, KS, Paul Nank (Tauni) of Wichita, KS, Greg Nank (Karen) of Peosta, IA and Jason Nank (Brenda) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Andrew Feipel (Sydney), Jake Feipel (Hannah), Nicole Nelson (Keith), Theresa Robichaux (Austin), Sarah Nank, Matthew Nank, Isaac Nank, Ashley Streid (Jesse), Max Nank (Katelynn), Alex Nank (Sarah), Peter Nank, Charlie Nank, Ashley Nank and Alissa Nank; his sisters, Joann Nank of Kansas City, KS and Barbara Nank of Kansas City, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Splinter, Marilyn Splinter and Jenelda "Nelli" Splinter. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
