He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Roberts and Betty Roberts (Crummett); and his brothers, Gary and Ruben Roberts. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandy Payne of Dubuque, Roland Roberts (Yong Sun) of Iowa City, IA and Gail Wallace (Ken) of Duluth, MN; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Roberts of Peosta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Arbor Oaks Bible Chapel (2843 John F Kennedy Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be given to the Iowa ALS Association and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
