He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Joseph and Mary Florence Turnis (White); his siblings, Tom and Mary Kay Connolly; his brothers-in-law, Frank Naber and Don Steffensmeier; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Mary Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Margaret Weber; his son Doug Turnis (Kate) of Ankeny, IA; his grandchildren, Lucas and Jamison; his son Ken Turnis (Erin) of North Liberty, IA; his grandchildren, Charlie, Will and Cooper; his daughter Michelle Williams (Calvin) of Goodyear, AZ; his grandchildren, Mikayla and Trey; his daughter Melissa Powell (Rob) of Buckeye, AZ; and his grandchildren, Hailey and Lexi.
