Susan Walz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Walz of Dubuque, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Mueller and Lucile Mueller (Shafer); her brother Donald "Shorty" Mueller; and her nephew Matthew Mueller. She is survived by: her husband Edward Walz; her children, Cara Walz (Tony Jhocson), Mimi Holesinger (Dave), Edward Walz and Kristen Walz (Erik Rook); her grandchildren, Edward Curtiss (Hilary Lien-Beye), Jackson Curtiss, Zane Jhocson, Una Jhocson, David Holesinger, Emma Holesinger (James Paulson), George Holesinger and Mekdes Holesinger; her great grandchild Turner Curtiss Lien-Beye; her brother Mark Mueller (Donna Lund); and her sister-in-law Cathy Mueller.
A prayer will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael Cathedral (231 Bluff St, Dubuque, IA 52001).
