She was predeceased by: her daughter Margaret Lynn; and her parents-in-law, Verna Ryan and Thomas Ryan. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her daughter Taylor Paige Barnhouse (Derek); her grandson Caden Phillip of Urbandale, Iowa.; her parents, Phil Ruppel and Judy Ruppel; her brother Jeff Ruppel (Lisa); her siblings-in-law, Terry Ryan (Mary), Todd Ryan (Karen), Stan Ryan (Tammy) and Cathy Wehling (Randy); and her sibling's children, Jack, Teddy, Ben Ruppel, Kristi Peters (Garret), Kelly Pfundheller (Jacob), Austin Ryan (Anna), Cody Ryan (Avriel), Josh Ryan, Emily Ryan, Katie Kaiser (Jordan) and Mitch Wehling (Taryn).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (255 W 10th St, Dubuque, IA 52001). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 200 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Crocus Foundation or Two by Two Character Development, honoring Tami's lifelong commitment to service and community.
