She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Mitchell and Irene Mitchell (Friederick); her husband Edward A. Deppe of Joseph's Catholic Church-Key West; her brother Carl Mitchell; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Hafemen (Leonard), Ralph Manternach and Charles Wertzberger.
She is survived by: her children, Mark E. Deppe (Debra) of Almont, MI and Anne M. Deppe-Manderfeld (Bernard); her grandchildren, Kaylin Deppe-Pacheco (Daniel), Peter Deppe (Terrah), Lauren Deppe, Amelia Manderfeld (Michael Larson) and Anthony Manderfeld; her sisters, Rita Manternach of Cascade, IA and Rosemary Wertzberger of Johnston, IA; and her siblings' children, Brian Manternach of Cascade, IA, Dale Manternach of Cascade, IA, Ross Manternach, Carl Wetzberger of Des Moines, IA, Pam Ockenfels of Wellman, IA and Jill Friedow of Madison, WI..
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish - Holy Ghost (2921 Central Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Clarke University, Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Stonehill Care center, or Hospice of Dubuque.
