He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Fessler and Mary Rita Fessler (Marshall); and his siblings, Robert Fessler and Rita Jean Moser (Fred Timmerman). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Fessler of Patrick's Catholic Church; his daughters, Rachel Jennings (John) and Sarah Friske (Justin); his grandchildren, Madilyn Jennings, Thomas Jennings, Paige Friske and Evelyn Friske; and his brother Victor Fessler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Dubuque and the Dubuque Food Pantry.
