He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James and Mildred Catherine Hartman (Heri); and his siblings, Michael and Joan Ehlers. He is survived by: his children, John Thomas Hartman, Patrick Michael Hartman, Katherine Marie Hartman and Diane Mary Hostler; his wife Darlene Cheryl Hartman (Fiedorowicz); and his sister Barbara Lee Delaney of Dubuque. He is also survived by four children; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
