She is survived by: her children, Linda Burke (Bob), Judy McCarthy, Shirley Koppes (Craig), Mary Fury, Randy Bender (Marta) and Marty Bender. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 24 great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque or St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
