William Wesenberg Obituary
We announce the death of William Wesenberg of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 94. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wesenberg and Marie Wesenberg (Bisanz); his wife Kathleen "Kay" M. Koster; his granddaughter Amanda Wesenberg; his brother John Wesenberg; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Trentz and Jim Hennessy.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Wesenberg (Linda) of Dubuque and Jeffrey Wesenberg (Sandra) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Jenna Krapfl (C. J.), Alex Wesenberg (Corinne), Andrea Duggan (Aaron) and Travis Troy (Sarah); his great grandchildren, William Krapfl, Ashlynn, Jax Duggan, Maci and Kaiser Troy; his sister Rosemary Hennessy of Hazel Green, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Trentz of Dubuque and Janet Wesenberg of Arvada, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1111 Davis St, Dubuque, IA 52001).
