We announce the death of Yvonne Klaas of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 89. Yvonne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Goffinet and Helen Goffinet (Wilming); her husband Herbert Klaas; her sons-in-law, Timothy Ruden and Steve Kammerude; her brothers, Milton Goffinet, Glen Goffinet (Darlene) and Melvin Goffinet (Joanie); and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Klaas, Virginia Nelson and Richard Klaas.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Klaas of Dubuque, Susan Biddle (Robert) of East Dubuque, Deborah Ruden of Dubuque and Paul Klaas of Tracy, CA; her grandchildren, Chad Kammerude (Shannon Walsh), Justin Kammerude (Trisha Reichenbach), Amanda Ruden and T. J. Ruden (Brandy); her siblings, Doris Hoffman (Joe), Bernita Maas (Joe "Butch") and Burt Goffinet (Pam); and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Goffinet, Mary Klaas and Ann Klaas. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
