He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Florence D. Brown and Hazel D. Brown (Anderson); his children, Janeen Williams (Dan) of Mead, CO, James Brown (Michelle) of Dunkerton, IA, Jason Brown of Mankato, MN and Melissa Pates (Jason) of Waverly, IA; his daughter-in-law Kristie Brown (Marilyn Steggall) of Dunkerton, IA; his siblings, Bernie Brown (Doris) of Dunkerton, IA, Mike Brown of Cedar Falls, IA, Steve Brown (Mary Weber) of Fairbank, IA, Paul Brown (Cindy) of Independence, IA, Dennis Brown (Janet) of Newhall, IA and Patricia Brown of Cedar Rapids, IA; his wife Cheryl Brown; and his siblings, Barbara Forkner, Bernadine Wilkinson, Mary Rigdon, Robert Brown and John Brown. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (1315 Main St, Jesup, IA 50648). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church - Barclay (7830 E Airline Hwy, Dunkerton, IA 50626).
