With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kay King of Durant, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Reimers and Eleanor Reimers (Rottman); her husband David King; and her siblings, Juanita Smith, Shirley Bland, Janet Baker and James "Jim" Reimers.
She is survived by: her children, Terry King (Carol Graham) of Davenport, Tom King (Mardy) of Leander, Shelly Tisinger (Bob) of Durant, David King (Pam) of Rock Island and Jenni King of Durant; her siblings, Donna Peters of Durant and Richard Reimers (Ethel) of Iowa City; her sister-in-law Deanna Reimers of Davenport; and her special neighbors Judy. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
