He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Guyer and Audrey Guyer (Schult); his son Jason Guyer; and his brother-in-law Vernon Voelkers. He is survived by: his wife Diane Conwell; his son David Guyer (Mandi) of Bettendorf; his daughter-in-law Katie Guyer-Chaffee of Wilton; his grandchildren, Audrey, Clayton, Emerson, Mason and Isaac; his stepdaughters, Leah Woodham (Matthew) of Niceville and Kate Hensley of Rock Island; and his siblings, Donna Voelkers of Durant and Wayne Guyer (Jan) of Iowa City. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren.
