He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bierkamp and Frances Bierkamp (Wittman); his wife Judy; and his siblings, Shirley Willis, Pat Munn, Richard and Frank Novak.

He is survived by: his son Jason Bierkamp of Durant; his siblings, Bonnie Redfield (Doug) of Pasco, Washington and Bob Bierkamp (Annette) of Indianola, Iowa; and his pet Patches.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Davenport.
