He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hagge and Dolores Hagge (Tyler); and his former wife Sheryl Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Scheetz-Lenz; his children, Tommy Hagge of Davenport, Samantha Parsons (Greg) of Durant and Michael "Mickey" Hagge of Tipton; his stepsons, Mark Lenz (Melissa) of Iowa City and Kevin Lenz of Lone Tree; his grandchildren, Jacob, Rylee, Zachary, Dawson, Henry, Stella and Lilliana; and his sisters, Cathy Juchter (Dennis) of Durant, Rhonda Skahill (Bruce) of Durant and Jean Novinski of Durant.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home (1001 6th St, Durant, IA 52747). The military honors will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Durant American Legion, Post #430, Iowa City Hospice or Camp Courageous.
