She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Beerling and Marie Beerling (Sexton); her husband Jim; her parents-in-law, Alan and Esther Heavens (Dirker); her sister-in-law Jill Beerling; her nephew Kevin Pappe; and her friend Dean Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan (Jillian) of Garnavillo, John (Mary) of Cedar Rapids and Patrick (Jordan) of Lakeville, MN; her grandchildren, Reagan, Weston, Vivian, Owen, Charles, Josephine, James and Emmett; and her siblings, Peggy Thompson (Ron), Richard Beerling (Linda Danielson), Nancy Keenan (Kevin), Tom Beerling and John Beerling (Mary). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
