He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty M. Conaway (Larson) and Don Sr. Conaway; his siblings, Don "Duke" Conaway, Jr. and Marcia Conaway; his in-laws, John, Betty Bosch and Orville Anderson; his sister-in-law Dianne Spangler; and his great grandchild Jax Robert Frazier.

He is survived by: his wife Merry Conaway; his children, Christi Frazier (Jack) of Boone, Jenny Gano (Jeff) of Boone and Dan Conaway (Jen) of Eagle Grove; his grandchildren, Mollie Frazier, Kennedy Craun (Mike), Maggie Gano, Olivia Conaway, Jayda Frazier and Jace Conaway; his great grandchild Easton Craun; his siblings, Bev Conaway and Bill Conaway (Linda); and his sisters-in-law, Cheri Conaway and Kathy Rice (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would prefer donations to go towards purchasing a memorial bench for the Eagle Grove Golf Course.
