She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. Stever and Madge K. Stever (Thomas); her grandchildren, Lauren Edwards and Nicholas Creswell; and her siblings, Loretta Grasty (Stever), Annette Chovanic (Stever), Donald Stever and Steve Stever.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Creswell (Ruston Agte) of Tucson, Arizona, James Creswell (Christine) of Venice, Florida and Heather Creswell (Matthew Moore) of Des Moines, Iowa; her grandson Lance Edwards (Melissa); her sons, Dillon Creswell (Hannah), Garrett Creswell (Allison) and Tyler Agte; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Creswell, Mackenzie Edwards and Landon Edwards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Family Funeral Home (140 NW 2nd St, Earlham, IA 50072). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Earlham United Methodist Church (145 NE Sycamore Ave, Earlham, IA 50072).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Janice Creswell Memorial Fund, which will in turn be donated to the Lauren Faye Edwards Memorial Scholarship Endowment at the University of Arizona in her memory.
