He was predeceased by: his father Larry Anderson (Bella); and his father-in-law Norm Honderd. He is survived by: his wife Diana Anderson; his children, Tyler Anderson, Bella Anderson (Kolby Booge), Jennifer (Jacob Harrison) and Andrew (Makayla Putz); his grandchildren, Carter, Baylor, Maren, Langston Putz, Jaycee and Josie Harrison; his mother Pat Anderson; his brothers, John, Kim Anderson, James and Kari Anderson; his mother-in-law Fran Honderd; and his siblings-in-law, Brad (Jana Honderd) and Dawn (Jay Block).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Hope Church (25712 US-6, Adel, IA 50003).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being accepted to establish a sanctuary on the property in Eric's honor and to create a memorial scholarship fund for a local student pursuing an education in dentistry or business entrepreneurship.
