He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Halfhill and Amy Halfhill (Beaman); and his siblings, Gladys Primley, Betty Herman, Lois Halfhill, Myrtle Kasner and Geralda Wiig.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Staner; and his siblings, Robert Halfhill (Tamy), Lyndall Weir and Wanda Gulick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
