He is survived by: his wife Lois Elaine (McManigal); his children, Rhonda Schmidt (Carey) of Schaller, IA, Daniel Carlberg (Kerri Almaas) of Eastsound and Loree Vander Zwaag (Mike) of Orange City, IA; his grandchildren, Beth Smith (Mike) of Schaller, IA, Lisa Smith (Claude) of Custer, SD and Lexi Schmidt (Spencer Schwanz) of Sac City, IA.; his great grandchildren, Layton, Wesley, Eden Smith of Schaller, IA, Jameson Carlberg of Everett, WA and Baby Smith; his sister Darlene Wright; and his sisters-in-law, Judith Boyer, Gloria McManigal and Marcia McManigal. He is also survived by cousins, nieces/nephews, and other relatives and friends.
