He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pecoy and Marilyn Platt; his aunt Janet Lightfoot; and his uncles, Randy Platt, John and Jim Platt.
He is survived by: his wife Danielle Thompson of Early, IA; and his children, Taylor Platt, Uriah, Braven, Marilyn "Mary" Platt, Carter and Briah Bates. He is also survived by two half brothers; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
