He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dale Franken (Phyllis) and Darlene Franken; his wife Kari Franken of Early, IA; his children, Kaela Wiig (Kyle) of Sioux City, IA, Kaitlin Morris (Dana) of Lake City, IA and Kara Tripp (Dalton) of Early, IA; his grandchildren, Thea, Molli Wiig, Mila, Jovi, Nell Morris and Lee Tripp; his sister Kathy Stille (Dale) of Iowa City, IA; his mother-in-law Wanda Bulten of Early, IA; his sisters-in-law, Marla Jewett (Steve) of Sloan, IA and Lori Sweeden (Stuart) of Rome, GA; his brother Dennis Franken of Schaller, IA; his grandparents, Hank, Ella Franken, Bert and Maude Rininger; his father-in-law Swede Bulten; his brother-in-law Lowell Ulven (Darlene); and his uncle Darrell Franken. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
