She is survived by: her mother Catherine "Cathy" Marie Cox (Art); her husband Peter Bruning; her children, Patrick Bruning (Alicia), Niki Bruning (Robert Braden) and Catherine Bruning; her grandchildren, Logan Bruning, Avery Bruning, Jakobey Braden and Charleigh Braden; and her sisters, Joy Thompson (Mark) and Penny Thomsen. She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Centerville (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
