We announce the death of Kenneth Carr (Eddyville, Iowa), who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 72. Kenneth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carr and Blanche Carr; and his brothers, Rod Carr and Lee (Ila Williams). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Williams; his children, Vicky Goemaat (Cory Crawford) and Jered Jones; his grandchildren, McKenna (Teddy), Shelby (Fuzz Face), Alux and Teegan Jones; his great grandchild Kora; his sister Kim Carr Clemons (Jack); and his nieces and nephews, Adam Clemons (Andrea), Aaron Clemons (Brooke), Alan Clemons (Jessica), Jesse Carr, Tome', Jaime, Tracy, Randi and Gina. He is also survived by four great nephews, and two step nieces, and many many cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eddyville Celebrate Life Center (216 Walnut St, Eddyville, IA 52553). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the family and will be directed at a later date.
