He was predeceased by: his parent Terry Sparks; and his grandmother Louise Sparks. He is survived by: his children, Remington Straube (Kelsey Freeburn) of Grinnell, Gracie Straube (Jacob Baker) of Oskaloosa, Emma Straube (Shayla Playle) of Oskaloosa, Ruger Straube of Chariton and Holly Straube of Illinois; his grandchild Ensly Smith; his sister Nicole Dixson (Brad) of Chariton; and his nephews, C. J. and Brett Dixson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bates Funeral Chapel (114 S 7th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
