He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ackerman and Irene Ackerman (Burger); his sister Winnie Dieter (Paul); and his brother-in-law Jim Fuss. He is survived by: his children, Felicia Powenski (Ryan), Miles Ackerman and Michael Ackerman (Renee); and his siblings, Mary Fuss and Wendell Ackerman. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
