He is survived by: his wife Myrna Jewell; his daughter Sue Ellen (Ken Boeckenstedt) of Edgewood; his son-in-law John Harris of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Salina Basten (Jeff Allison) of Waukon and Krieg Basten (Becky Hammer) of Edgewood; and his great grandchildren, Reese of Waukon and Jack Allison of Waukon.
