It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henrietta Wessel of Edgewood, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lubben and Martha Lubben (Reimer); her husband Harlyn Wessel; her brothers, Donald Lubben (Maxine) and Chester Lubben; her sister-in-law Virginia Lubben; and her nephew David Lubben.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Bushaw, Steven Wessel (Julie) and Jerry Wessel (Marcia); her grandchildren, Jennifer Wolff (Doug), Jaci Bushaw (Mark Schwab), Shanna Katcher (Joshua), Shane Wessel (Abby) and Caleb Wessel (Ashley); and her brother Francis "Tony" Lubben. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Edgewood Bible Church (107 S Washington St, Edgewood, IA 52042). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
