She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Wegmann and Antonette Wegmann (Deppe); her husband Robert "Bob" Mescher; and her siblings, Armella Wieferich (Larry), Eileen Meder (Jack), Dorothy Pfeiler (Art Esch), Harriet Maiers (Leon), Alvin Wegmann (Sally), Ambrose "Butch" Wegmann (Pat) and John Wegmann (Vickie).
She is survived by: her children, Randy Mescher (Vickie) of Edgewood, Pat Mescher (Marsha) of Dundee, Kathy Hansel of Edgewood and Jeff Mescher of Winthrop; her grandchildren, Tim, Mark, Jessie, Justin, Katie, Beth, Matt and Allie; her brother Ralph Wegmann of Farley; and her siblings-in-law, Dick Mescher (Jean) of Dyersville and Jeanette Mescher of Dyersville. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (205 S Locust St, Edgewood, IA 52042). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forestville Cemetery (1302 140th Ave, Dundee, IA 52038).
